Vertex Holdings is a Singapore-based venture capital investment holding company.

Vertex Holdings is a Singapore-based venture capital investment holding company. It provides anchor funding and operational support to a proprietary global network of venture capital funds.

Currently, there are seven network partnerships, namely: Vertex Ventures China, Vertex Ventures Israel, Vertex Ventures SEA & India, Vertex Ventures US, Vertex Ventures Japan, Vertex Ventures HC and Vertex Growth.

The Vertex family of funds invests in early stage technology opportunities through Vertex Ventures, early stage healthcare opportunities through Vertex Ventures HC, and growth stage opportunities through Vertex Growth. Each Vertex fund operates independently, with separate local teams that raise and manage their respective funds.

Our Champions

Vertex Ventures China invested in 91.com (91 Wireless), which was one of the largest Android app stores in China. It was acquired in 2014 by Baidu.

Vertex Ventures Israel invested in CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), a cyber security leader in securing Privileged Access Management.

Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Vertex Growth invested in NIUM (fka Instarem), which offers cross-border payment services through its technology platform to provide a secure, cost-efficient and transparent experience for its retail and enterprise clients.

Vertex Ventures US and Vertex Growth invested in PerimeterX, a leading provider of application security solutions which prevents automated attacks by detecting and protecting against malicious web behavior with unparalleled accuracy.

Vertex Ventures China invested in Chipscreen, a leading enterprise of small molecule innovative medicines in China. It announced its IPO on STAR Market of SSE in 2019.

Vertex Ventures Israel invested in Dynamic Yield which helps marketers increase revenue by automatically personalizing each customer interaction across web, mobile apps and email. Dynamic Yield was acquired by McDonalds in 2019.

Vertex Ventures SEA & India invested in Grab, a technology company that ride hailing, food delivery and payment solutions through its intelligent online and smartphone platform.

Vertex Ventures US invested in Desktop Metal, a technology company that is accelerating the transformation of manufacturing with end-to-end metal 3D printing solutions.

Vertex Ventures HC and Vertex Growth invested in Bicycle Therapeutics, which is developing first-in-class medicines to treat cancer and other debilitating diseases.

Vertex Ventures China and Vertex Growth invested in Geek+, a leading robotics and AI technologies provider and China’s supplier of warehousing and logistics solutions. Vertex Ventures China led Series A+ funding round in 2017.

Vertex Ventures Israel invested in Waze, the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app. Waze was acquired by Google in 2013.

Vertex Ventures SEA & India invested in Cloudcherry, the definitive Real-Time, Omni-channel customer experience management platform that helps customer-facing brands track, measure and improve customer delight. It was acquired by Cisco in 2019.

Vertex Ventures HC invested in Ivantis, which developed the Hydrus Microstent, an FDA-approved minimally invasive glaucoma stent (MIGS) to treat mild to moderate glaucoma patients. Ivantis was acquired by Alcon (NYSE: ALC) in January 2022 for $475M.

Vertex Ventures HC led the Series A extension round of EyeBio, which is working to deliver a new generation of antibody therapeutics to protect, restore, and improve vision for people who are underserved by available eye disease therapies. EyeBio was acquired by Merck & Co (NYSE: MRK) in July 2024 for $1.3B upfront and up to a total of $3B including milestones.
